First of all:
if you aren't a night-time DX-er, you have instead  the choice to pick audio from the livestream of CBC. It is separated / divided into different regions and the belonging website. For St. John's it is "Newfoundland":  http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador     The Live Button is named: CBC Radio One - Listen Live

The TX output of CBC at 6160 khz is less than 1 kW

So it shows the fine possibilities of the shortwave broadcasting for to reach a far audience and second to serve the needed informations for the internal population inside border areas,

with a minimum of costs / electric bill.  It works !!!

Liebe Leser, mit einem TRANSLATOR (ist oben auch bei uns integriert), kann man die englischen Beiträge leicht übersetzen oder zumindest deren Sinn verstehen. Zudem sind fast alle Abkürzungen wie PX für Programm international und auch dem deutschsprachigen DXer gut bekannt. Umgekehrt gilt natürlich das gleiche für englische DXer. In diesem Sinne werden wir die Zweisprachigkeit (in einem Verhältnis von 60:40 pro English) weiter pflegen. Und deutsche Gastbeiträge sind gerne gesehen, einfach via e-Mail einsenden, wir garantieren 100%ige unzensierte Veröffentlichung. In diesem Sinne weiter viel Spaß beim Lesen und Genießen unseres blogs.....

Betreff ALL INDIA RADIO ist ja bekannt, daß die Protestnote an den Director General inzwischen abgesendet ist. Jeder DX-er ist aufgerufen, mit einem oder mehreren Empfangsberichten/Reception Reports die Station zu unterstützen. Eine Schließung der Kurzwellenabteilung wäre wirklich dramatisch und unverantwortlich.
