Due to hot weather today, it was a joy to work outside at the balcony.

Here the results, all the antenna's are connected via a 5-pole antenna-coupler

to the wonderful YAESU FRG-100

an Isyline-DX antenna is 100 m copperwire in

a plastic pipe - strong signals up to S9+60 db

active Magnetic-Loop Antenna 25 meter high

RESULT of todays work: the FRG-100 have now

1) Isyline 100 meter copperwire antenna

           2) the rotable PRASSE Magnetic-Loop outdoor

3) Frame antenna for mediumwave only

          4) 2 x 12 m Dipol  (via Balun)  thru the balcony

5) indoor passive tunable Loop-Antenna 

6) PALSTAR active Ferrit-Antenna          

Now it shall possible to listen to every little TX in the deepest far away Asia !!

Empfehlung: handgefertigte Aktivantenne von Prasse Elektronik

Wer eine leistungsfähige Antenne sucht, in der Stadt wohnt

und daher meist keinen Langdraht spannen kann, ist gut 

beraten, auf Mini-Whips und ähnliche Aktivantennen zu 

verzichten, da diese den städtischen Störnebel voll aufsaugen und somit schwache Signale durch Störungen oft unhörbar werden. Abhilfe kann da nur eine passive Magnetic-Loop Antenne schaffen, oder...... eine aktive abstimmbare Loop oder > drittens eine aktive Ferritantenne.

Da die professionellen Ferritantennen von a) Grahn, 

b) BAZ und c) Palstar oft den Rahmen eines monatlichen

Hobby-Budgets sprengen - man denke auch an die XYL -,

bleibt nur der Eigenbau einer passiven Loop (was nicht

schwer ist, sogar ich habe es hinbekommen, hi hi) oder

für die Perfektionisten unter uns:  

eine aktive und abstimmbare Magnetic-Loop Antenne des
